2015-16 Personnel Updates

CCCS is thrilled to announce the hire of our new P.E. teacher, Keaton Lovendahl. Mr. Lovendahl comes to us with a background in both teaching and athletics. He is the assistant varsity lacrosse coach at Sheldon High School, where he received Assistant Coach of the Year in 2014. Mr. Lovendahl has strong ties to the Coburg community. He previously volunteered at CCCS in the classroom and helped to support Skill Days, he has familiarity with our SPARKS P.E. Curriculum, and a strong ability to connect with children of all ages. Mr. Lovendahl is very excited to be joining the CCCS family!

~ P.E. will continue to be offered MondayThursday to all students, with an additional P.E./Health class on Fridays for middle school students

We are also pleased to announce that Amy Nevin and Sarah Chambers will be supporting us as educational assistants (E.A.). Both Mrs. Nevin and Mrs. Chambers worked in E.A. positions with us this past year either through our 4J Special Education services or in a substitute role. You will see Mrs. Nevin and Mrs. Chambers supporting in the areas of reading and math, small group intervention, electives, library, study hall, and supervision. We are very excited to expand on the duties on these two very capable individuals.

If you know of someone to recommend with a certified teaching license or with a background in classified roles such as educational assistant, cook, secretarial and/or custodial work that might be the right fit for CCCS, please contact Mrs. Ralls to learn more about the requirements and details.
