~Harvest Festival 10/28/16~

As our weather turns wet and a bit of a chill is in the air, it tells us that the CCCS Harvest Festival is almost here!  We are so excited to have new games, food, and many other activities for everyone to enjoy.  We look forward to hearing the kids laugh as they play Pin the Spider on the Web, the smell of baked potatoes and chili, not to mention caramel apples! Look for pre-sale dinner and apple forms coming home next week. This year we are asking for volunteers to sign up online for a time slot at the game booths, food service, and of course set-up and clean-up.  See the link to sign up under the volunteer opportunities at the bottom of this blast.

Attached is a pre-order form for dinner and caramel apple orders.  Please return the form no later than Thursday morning 10/27 in the black mailbox located by the front of the school.  The Harvest Team will collect the orders and send tickets home with your student.  If you forget to submit your form by Thursday morning, tickets will be sold at the Festival.

A big thanks to Detering Orchards for donating our apples, Johnson’s Farm for the mini pumpkins, and Harry’s Berries for the pumpkins!

Thank you so much to Albertsons on Coburg Road and Kim Jensen for donating to our harvest festival year after year!

The Harvest Festival team is looking for families that have extra freezer space from now until the evening of harvest festival. This Wednesday and Thursday there will be cakes that need a home until the night of harvest festival.  Would you be willing to take one or more cakes after school this week and freeze them that same day?  Please contact April Clark asap if you can meet her in front of the school on Wednesday or Thursday to pick up cakes.  Apriljclark@Gmail.com or text: 541-514-6626
