Our 5th through 8th grade students will display their science fair projects next Friday, April 29th. There are two opportunities for families to view the projects, which are listed as follows:
10:15-11:15 a.m. – All Kinder through 4th grade students will be touring the fair; families are welcome to join us during this time. 5th through 8th grade students will be standing next to their projects.
12:00-1:00 p.m. Projects will remain on the tables for community viewing. If you have a student in 5th-8th grade, they are encouraged to attend the open house, but are not required to do so. Many students will enjoy standing next to their projects to be available to answer questions; others may want to walk around with their families to show what fellow peers have done or a combination of both. It’s up to the student and parent since this is an open house. Students may only stay after school if they have adult supervision. For those of you who plan on staying, please be sure to park and pick-up your student at noon to escort him/her to the science fair in the gym.
Due to this event, we do anticipate more cars than usual. Overflow parking is available on the North side of the gym. Please do not park along the county road. For those of you who don’t plan on staying, please consider using the drive-through pick-up option, which will leave more available spots for those who plan on staying at the open house.
Science projects may go home with students at 1 pm. Projects that are left will need to be picked up by Monday after school. Thank you!
