~Upcoming Volunteer Opportunities~

Plate Decorating for Auction

Date: Ongoing

Contact Person: Andrea McGarvey

The auction committee is looking for volunteers who enjoy 1-1 projects with students. Over the next few weeks we will be decorating class platters to sell at the annual dinner and auction. The designs will be sketched out prior to meeting with students. Generally this includes getting thumb prints and names written for younger students and overseeing the older students to make sure we don’t miss anyone!

Skill Days

Skill Days are offered twice a year for grades kindergarten-5th. Volunteers are needed to teach a small group of students a skill and/or hobby they are passionate about on three consecutive Fridays for one hour. Classes offered in previous years include: woodworking, jazzercise, golf, sign language, veterinary medicine and first aid. On a fourth Friday (March 17th) a school wide assembly is held for students to show off what they learned/made.
